• Meet with clients to understand their estate planning needs, document with detailed notes the results of the meeting, strategize and make recommendations and prepare comprehensive, customized Estate Plans
• Work collaboratively as part of a team
• Work with third-party professionals such as Financial Planners, CPAs, and Insurance Agents
• Manage all aspects of a client's matter from engagement to close
• Supervise the work of junior legal team members (Paralegal and/or Legal Assistants) assigned to assist with production and delivery. -
• Colorado Bar License;
• 3+ years experience in Estate Planning, Probate, and Trust Administration
• Portable book of business or a strong desire to build and manage your own clients
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented, paralegal to play an important role on our legal team as an estate administration and probate litigation paralegal. 2+ years experience in probate, estate planning, accounting, or litigation is a plus but not required. You will be responsible for handling all phases of estate planning, probate, and trust administration, including extensive communication with clients, distribution of trust and estate assets, deed work, etc.
• Assist lawyers in preparing legal documentation, pleadings, and correspondence
• Aid lawyers by preparing, organizing and coordinating cases
• Conducting research and assisting with client meetings and filing motions
• Prepare clear and concise correspondence
• Prepare and administer probate and trust administration critical dates and checklists
• Extensive client contact - handling client calls, questions, and inquiries
• Prepare estate planning and real estate documents
• Ensuring service of appropriate documents and e-filing documents with the court
• Oversee cases and act as a liaison between clients, staff, and attorneys to ensure deadlines are met, quality control checklists are complete, and timely progression of cases -
